Golf Games: Sandies
No day on the beach, in Sandies, a point is awarded whenever a player gets up and down out of a bunker. Two points could be awarded for holing out.
The downside of this is that you actually have to be IN a bunker to score any points. So this game often is played with other similar bets in a game called “Junk.”
Other possible Junk bets:
Barkies: get a point for making par after hitting a tree
Greenies: score a point for being closest to the pin on the par 3s
Birdies: add a point for going one under par
An Arnie, or a Seve: get a point for making par while never being on the fairway the entire hole.
and so on.
