The Rocco Forte Open is the successor to the Sicilian Open, which ran on the European Tour from 2011 to 2012.
The event is held at the Verdura Golf & Spa Resort, which is owned by Rocco Forte Hotels.
Verdura is a links-style course running along the Sicilian coast. Put this on my bucket list.
