I ran across this book from 1892 while browsing the British Library’s online library. His Golf Madness and Other Queer Stories is a collection of stories from the British magazine Truth, which was published from 1877 to 1957.
Note to the uninformed: “Queer” in 1892 meant “strange.” Also, the “gay lifestyle” is mentioned in the story means “happy lifestyle.”
